Blair Harrison

Blair Harrison is a technology entrepreneur with over eighteen years experience building media technology businesses.

Most recently Blair was CEO of IFILM, one of the first online video networks, which was sold to Viacom in October 2005. IFILM pioneered user generated content online, initially comprising independent short films, and subsequently becoming the primary source for "viral video" on the web. IFILM built an audience of over twelve million monthly visitors. Blair was awarded Wired Magazine's Rave Award for innovation in 2005.

Prior to IFILM, in 1999 Blair founded FasTV, an online video network that enabled visitors to search live television and watch clips in their browser. FasTV was the first company to license CNN's 24 hour broadcast for redistribution online. Visitors to the FasTV site were able to search for words and topics spoken on live television, and watch clips minutes after they had aired.

In 1995 Blair founded Second Nature Industries, a 3-D computer graphics software development company. Second Nature won numerous awards for its animation software, which was used in the production of video games, special effects for movies, and television commercials. Second Nature was sold to Autodesk in 1998.

Blair holds an honors Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Bristol in England . He lives in Los Angeles.
