Bob graduated from Notre Dame University in May of 1979 and upon graduation immediately entered the life insurance and investment business with Northwestern Mutual Financial Network.
Bob spent nearly three years selling and began his management career with the Northwestern Mutual in 1982. In the 25 years that Bob has spent with the Northwestern Mutual, he has brought over 400 people into the insurance and investment business, and as a result of his efforts, nearly 220 are successfully selling today. Over the years, Bob has won many company and industry awards both as a successful salesman and a successful manager. Bob was appointed Managing Partner on April 1, 1991 in Los Angeles, California and heads the largest metropolitan market opportunity in the Northwestern Mutual distribution system.
Strategic Financial Group and the Strategic Benefits Group, LLC employs over 300 sales and technical people with expertise in the employee benefits, executive compensation, group insurance, pensions, and investment areas.
Bob is a noted public speaker, having spoken all over the United States and Canada on topics ranging from "Value-Based Organization Management" to "How Our World is Changing: What You Need to Know to Survive and Prosper in this Changing World." Bob has spoken hundreds of times to audiences as small as 100 people and as large as 8,000 people over the past decade.
Bob has five children: Courtney, age 25; Kendall, age 22; Clay, age 21; Kelsey, age 19; and Cole, age 9.
