Jim Moloshok

Jim Moloshok was most recently president, Digital Initiatives for Home Box Office, responsible for exploring new opportunities for the company, with focus on the point of intersection between innovative content and fast changing technology. He was recruited to this post by Chris Albrecht, at that time CEO of HBO and began there October 2005. In this position, Moloshok is responsible for HBO's various efforts in broadband ad-supported channels, mobile and new digital distribution channels for HBO programming.
Before joining HBO, Moloshok worked at Yahoo! since 2001, most recently as senior vice president, Entertainment and Content Relationships. Earlier, he served as senior vice president of Media and Entertainment, where he oversaw such properties as Yahoo! Movies, Yahoo! TV, Yahoo! Sports, Yahoo! Games, Yahoo! Finance and Yahooligans.
Prior to Yahoo!, Moloshok spent eleven years at Warner Bros. He was co-founder and president of Warner Bros. Online, overseeing the Web presence for all of the company's brands, including movies, television and retail. In addition, he was president and CEO of Entertaindom.com, an entertainment Web destination that featured original online programming. Moloshok also served as senior vice president of Warner Bros. marketing and advertising, supervising successful marketing programs for such popular television hits as "Friends," "The Drew Carey Show," "ER," and "The Rosie O'Donnell Show."
Moloshok joined Warner Bros. in 1989, when the company acquired Lorimar Telepictures, where he was senior vice president of marketing. Previous to that, he held the same position at Telepictures, a television distribution company, which merged with Lorimar in 1986. He also worked at Group W Productions, now part of CBS, on various syndicated television programs, and held news and promotion positions at local television stations in Detroit, Philadelphia and Syracuse.
Moloshok earned his bachelor's degree at the University of Rochester and a master's degree in communications from Syracuse University.
